Direct, unfiltered conversations between current Stratford Meridian clients and organizations considering working with us.
About the Program
Trust is central to how we work. Our clients trust us with their systems, data, and operations, and we believe prospective clients should be able to test that trust before making a commitment.
Through the Client Reference Program, qualified organizations can have a direct, independent conversation with selected current or former Stratford Meridian clients. These discussions are not scripted, not monitored, and do not include Stratford Meridian personnel. They are structured simply to help you understand what it is like to work with us in practice.

CLIENT REFERENCE PROGRAM
Who Is Eligible
Stratford Meridian offers reference conversations for organizations that are seriously evaluating a partnership with us and want a candid, peer-to-peer perspective. Because these calls require time from busy operators, we reserve the program for opportunities where a structured, client-to-client discussion is likely to be genuinely useful for both sides.
Eligibility Note: The Client Reference Program is reserved for organizations that meet the criteria outlined above and are evaluating a substantive, multi-faceted engagement with Stratford Meridian. If you do not meet these requirements, you may not be a fit for the program at this time, and we may decline or defer a reference request at our discretion. The program is not available for single-issue consultations, one-off implementation tasks, or purely exploratory conversations.
If you have questions about your eligibility or believe your situation warrants an exception, please contact the program at crp@stratfordmeridian.com

CLIENT REFERENCE PROGRAM
How the Process Works
We follow a structured, transparent process designed to protect everyone’s time and confidentiality.
By default, Stratford Meridian does not join reference calls. They are designed to be independent conversations between peers.
-
Discovery & Pre-Screening
We start with a discovery conversation to understand your business, priorities, and what you hope to learn. We use this to determine whether a reference call is appropriate and likely to be valuable for you and for the reference client.
-
Matching With a Peer Client
If the program is a good fit, we identify one or more clients who may be appropriate matches, ideally similar in trade, business model, scale, or use of ESAM and MARC, and ask whether they are willing to participate.
-
Context & Scheduling
With their consent, we share a short, factual summary of your situation and suggested topics, then coordinate a time for you to speak directly. At this point we step back and leave the conversation to the two of you.
-
Direct Client-to-Client Conversation
The reference call is typically 20–30 minutes and is held without Stratford Meridian present. We do not record or monitor the conversation. The format is an open discussion between operators, focused on implementation reality rather than marketing language.
-
Optional Follow-Up With Stratford Meridian
After the call, we are available, on a separate discussion, to clarify technical points, explore how a similar approach might apply to your business, or address any questions the reference conversation raised.
Program Disclamer
The Stratford Meridian Client Reference Program is provided solely as an informational resource for prospective clients who wish to hear about the experiences of certain existing or former Stratford Meridian clients. Participation in the program is entirely voluntary for both prospective clients and current or former clients.
Reference conversations are conducted directly between you and the participating client. Stratford Meridian does not typically attend, monitor, or record these conversations and does not control what any participating client chooses to share. We may assist with initial matching, context, and scheduling, but the substance of the discussion is between the two organizations.
Client references are not compensated by Stratford Meridian for participating in reference conversations, other than potential reimbursement of reasonable, pre-approved expenses directly related to the call (if any). Their willingness to speak is not contingent on providing a favorable review, and Stratford Meridian does not script, edit, or otherwise influence their statements.
Any views, opinions, or statements expressed by participating clients during a reference call are solely their own and do not necessarily represent the views or positions of Stratford Meridian. Reference conversations should not be interpreted as endorsements, guarantees of results, or independent reviews of Stratford Meridian’s services, platforms, or personnel.
While Stratford Meridian will make reasonable efforts to match prospective clients with references that have relevant characteristics (for example, matching a roofing company with a prior roofing client where possible), no assurance is given that any particular reference will operate in the same geography, trade, size, technology stack, or growth stage as your business. Individual experiences vary based on numerous factors, including but not limited to implementation scope, internal processes, staffing, and market conditions.
Information shared during reference conversations is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax, technical, or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for your own independent evaluation and professional advisers. Past performance, outcomes, or efficiencies described by a reference client are not indicators or guarantees of future performance or results for you.
Prospective clients and participating references are responsible for managing their own confidentiality expectations. You should not share confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personal data during a reference call unless an appropriate non-disclosure agreement is in place between the relevant parties. Stratford Meridian is not responsible for any information you choose to disclose directly to a reference client or that a reference client chooses to disclose to you.
Participation in the Client Reference Program does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, agency, or partnership relationship between you and Stratford Meridian or between you and any reference client. Stratford Meridian reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine reference eligibility, limit the number or duration of reference conversations, or modify or discontinue the program at any time without notice.
